WORLD TEACHER'S DAY
This year, World Teachers' Day is on Friday 31 October. To recognise our incredible teachers and school staff for their hard work and dedication, we would like to invite all Banyule PS families to send a message of appreciation and/or make a contribution (optional) to a special morning tea for the school staff on World Teachers' Day.
The Banyule PS CEC have setup a Group Together card so please click on the link below to sign and/or contribute. If you have any questions, please contact your Class Rep. Thanks everyone!
Please remember to post your thanks in the card link by Friday 24th October

Book Drive
The BPS Book drive is still open! A huge thank you to all of those who have donated & if you haven't had a chance here are the details to have your donation added to the BPS Library.
SUSTAINABILITY
Last newsletter we heard about all the amazing things the Sustainability reps are doing to care for and learn about our natural environment. Everyone in our BPS community can contribute via:
Container recycling - A reminder that you can help BPS and the planet by recycling your used drink containers at various Container Deposit Scheme locations. To donate refunds to BPS, select Banyule Primary School from the download options.
Oral care product recycling ON HOLD - Unfortunately Colgate has ceased supporting this program so we have paused collection of these waste items. Toothpaste tubes made from number 2 plastic can go in kerbside recycling bins in Banyule. Handles (not bristles) from bamboo toothbrushes can go in kerbside green waste bins.
Upcoming Events
