Year 5 & 6 Italian News 

At the end of Term 3, our talented Grade 5 and 6 students have been cooking up something special in Italian class — but not in the kitchen!

As part of their Italian language and cultural studies, students created their own passata (tomato purée) brands and designed colourful commercial posters entirely in Italian. They came up with unique brand names and logos, translated advertising phrases from English into Italian, and carefully matched Italian adjectives with the correct nouns — a fun and challenging grammar activity!

From “Passata Speciale di Nonna" to "Passata Perfetta”, the posters are bursting with creativity and language learning. The students proudly showcased their understanding of Italian vocabulary and sentence structure while also showing off their artistic flair.
