Homework
Homework for Term 2 will continue to be on Google Classroom and follow the same format as Term 1.
Most weeks Year 3/4 homework will consist of 4 components:
- Spelling – A minimum of 3 spelling activities must be completed every week.
- Mathematics - This will be set throughout the course of the year. At times it will be related to work completed in class and at other times it will be Timestables Rocks, which is an online program that the students will be given access to.
- Reading – All children are required to read 5 nights a week for at least 15 - 20 minutes.
This must be recorded in their diary with the book title and the page numbers read example:
‘13 Story Treehouse’ pgs 1-25.
‘13 Story Treehouse’: pgs 26-50’
Children must bring their diary to school every day to be checked and signed by an adult.
At different times throughout the year, the children will be given a project to complete over 2-3 weeks. At this time, there will be changes to the homework format.
If your child has not completed their homework please email your class teacher.
