AROUND THE SCHOOL

EASTER RAFFLE
DONATIONS FOR THE EASTER HAMPERS NEEDED: We ask that each family contribute, if they can, to our Easter Raffle by donating an Easter related item for our hampers. There is no pressure to do so, but we would be grateful for any contributions.
COMMUNITY GARDEN VISIT
The grade 1/2 students had a great time exploring the gardens and learning how our local community members are working together to establish a “Farmily” - a farm established by families.

Your Voice Matters: St. Laurence’s Wellbeing Parent survey
At St Laurence's Primary School, we know that supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our students is just as important as their learning. That’s why we’re inviting parents to take part in our second annual wellbeing survey.
Your experiences and insights help us understand what’s working well and how we can better support both you and your child. By sharing your thoughts, you’re helping us make St Laurence’s an even more positive, caring, and supportive environment for all our students and families.
It only takes a few minutes, and your voice really does make a difference. Click below to share your feedback and help us continue to grow together:
Thank you for being an important part of our school community!

RECONCILIATION RETREAT
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as confession) is a sacrament of forgiveness, compassion and healing.
This sacrament reaffirms that God loves us before we even recognise that we need to be forgiven. The love of God for us is expressed in mercy, compassion and forgiveness. The Sacrament focuses on relationships and reminds us that as individuals and as a community we stand in need of God’s forgiveness and healing love, in all our relationships, with ourselves, God and others.
On Friday 13th March, students from Mary Mackillop College's Year 10 Youth Ministry Team will lead our grade 3 students in a Reconciliation Retreat. Students will be involved in activities and reflection to consolidate and extend their understanding of right choices and forgiveness within the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
