Welcome to Edition 4

Welcome back to the final Middle School Bulletin for this Term.

Great work to our Year 9 students who have been working hard to complete all their outstanding work and achieve success in their assessments before the end of the Semester. We hope that you have enjoyed your Semester 1 subjects and are looking forward to the choices you have made for Semester 2.

We hope our Year 10 students have a fantastic time on Work Experience and enjoy the opportunities available at their chosen placements. Last week, students worked hard to complete their exams and any outstanding coursework, and we would like to congratulate them on their efforts. We hope students are proud of their Semester 1 reports and that their results reflect the dedication, persistence, and hard work they have shown throughout the term. We encourage all students to take time to celebrate their achievements and reflect on their goals for the remainder of the year.

Please note that Semester 1 reports will be released in the final week of term. We also encourage families to familiarise themselves with the minor update to the Melba College Mobile Phone Policy.

Rubbish in the yard:

Keeping our school grounds clean is a shared responsibility and an important reflection of our school values. Recently, we have noticed an increase in rubbish being left in the yard. While this may seem small, it impacts the pride we take in our environment and the respect we show to one another.

By taking a moment to place rubbish in the bin, we demonstrate responsibility and respect for our school community. Looking after our shared spaces also shows integrity and care, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a clean and welcoming environment.

We encourage all students to take ownership of their surroundings and support one another in keeping our school clean. Small actions make a big difference, and together we can continue to uphold the values that make our school a positive place to learn and grow.
