Jump Rope for Heart

Jump Rope for Heart is Here!
We're excited to announce that Menzies Creek Primary School is taking part in Jump Rope for Heart, the Heart Foundation's much-loved skipping program that has been getting Australian children active for over 40 years!
Throughout the program, students will be developing their skipping skills, improving their fitness and coordination, and learning the importance of keeping their hearts healthy; all while helping to raise funds for the Heart Foundation's life-saving heart research and support programs. Across Australia, more than 10 million children have participated in Jump Rope for Heart, raising over $117 million to help fight heart disease.
When are we skipping?
Our students will have plenty of opportunities to practise their skipping skills:
- Morning Recess
- Lunchtime
- Every Wednesday from 3:00–3:30 pm during Sport, where the whole school will participate in a fun, structured skipping program led by our Physical Education teacher, Paige.
Whether students are learning their very first jump or mastering exciting tricks, everyone will be encouraged to challenge themselves, have fun and celebrate their progress!
Fundraising:
This year, Menzies Creek Primary School is fundraising as one whole school community. Rather than individual fundraising pages, every donation made through our school fundraising page contributes to our shared goal.
If you are able to support us, no matter how big or small the donation, we would be incredibly grateful.

Save the Date- Jump Off Day!
To celebrate all of our hard work and the amazing skipping skills our students have developed, we will be finishing our Jump Rope for Heart journey with a whole-school Jump Off Day on Wednesday, 16 September.
This will be a fun celebration of everything we've achieved together throughout the program. More information about this exciting event will be shared with families closer to the date.
Thank you for supporting our students as they become healthier, more active and help make a real difference for Australian hearts. Together, let's skip towards a healthier future!
