Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Families,
Term 3 reflection
Being the last full newsletter for Term 3, it is a great time to take stock of the energy-packed term we have had. Nothing more a highlight for me than our school concert – such a fabulous sense of community on display and an overwhelming sense of pride in our students, and our great school. Thank you for being a part of that!
In recent weeks our Year Five students have attended the two-day costume school experience at Sovereign Hill, and from all reports, were simply wonderful; our Boys Football Team competed at State Level – the first time in 12 years that any of our school teams have reached such heights, and today we celebrated Book Week with our annual parade and TEAMs activity. So much fun!
Term 4
Looking ahead to Term 4, there are several dates and events I would like to highlight to families to ensure everyone is prepared and ready:
Term 4 resumes on Tuesday 6th October
Year Four Camp: 28th – 30th October
Tuesday 3rd November – Melbourne Cup Public Holiday
Year Six Camp – 11th -13th November
Friday 20th November – Colour Fun Run
Friday 27th November – Pupil Free Day (Report Writing)
Tuesday 15th December – Year 6 Graduation Ceremony
Thursday 17th September – Final Day of School: Christmas Carols & Picnic at 12PM and a 1:30PM Dismissal
Lastly, a reminder that the final day of school for this term is Friday 18th September, with dismissal time being 2:30PM.
I hope everyone is on the back end of the virus season, and that the warmer weather brings with it some good health in time for the holiday break.
Until I see you in person,
David Garner
