The month of October each year is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7.
During this month the Pope Francis students have invited students from across the grades to join them for a decade of the Rosary at the beginning of lunch on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They will gather around the statue of Mary located by the Staffroom. A big thank you to these students who are living and sharing their faith with the wider school community.
The Staff are also meeting each Thursday morning in the Library to pray the Rosary.
DID YOU KNOW …..?
There are 20 incidents in the lives of Mary and Jesus which we reflect upon while we pray. These events are called the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries.
