Prabashitha: I am proud of our Robotics performance. We got to second place in the regionals and went on to the state finals and the nationals. I'm also proud of my round robin performance. I took almost 5 wickets in 1 day, and made over 50 runs.

Pragna: I am proud of my performance at camp. At first, I was extremely reluctant but after camp, I didn’t want it to end. I am also very proud of my recent reading task which focused on Harry Potter. I wrote four whole pages on it but personally, I think it is because I have a strong passion for Harry Potter.

Alison: I am proud of growing my confidence this year. I am most proud of this because I have shown improvement with my fear of public speaking.

Ethan: I am proud of our summer round robin performance as we won three first places and two second places, dominating the round robin tournament. I also am proud of camp as I was brave enough to go to the top of the giant swing and the flying fox.

Binuka: I am proud of all of the round robins that I have attended since I have accomplished something new, like getting a ribbon for winning an event. I am also proud of getting the PLA since it was the first time I have ever gotten it. As well as that, I am also proud of my athletics and cross country journey as I have won numerous individual awards.

Ally: I am proud of round robin because we received a ribbon as a school. I also learned how to play a bit of cricket in cricket round robin and we won again! I also made a lot of friends in grade 6.

Serena: I am proud of improving my confidence through camp. I enjoyed pushing my limits and trying things I never got to try, such as the high ropes and more.

Ariana: I am proud of making so many new friends and participating in many sport competitions and activities. I feel that I also improved in different academics subjects.

Lincoln: I am proud of being the school captain for 2023 as leadership has been a vital part of my Year 6 journey and I am grateful for leading the school to success. This is especially apparent when I led the Hot Shot boys team to a premier victory. It was a pleasure, holding up the flag with my companion Danny and providing BEPS with yet another premier win. I am also proud of the friendships that have been secured throughout this semester. I worked with people that I may not have interacted with before, such as Ira, Brianna, Alison and Sarah.

Maheen: I am proud of my role as Green House Captain. I fulfilled all of my duties and I enjoyed doing them. I am also proud of the Round Robin events that we have participated in throughout the year and we trained very hard. Even though we didn’t win some of the games, we were very resilient and we kept trying.

Riya: I am proud of our achievements in round robin as our team got a premiers in Danish Rounders. I’m also proud that my Maths skills have improved.

Frances: I am proud of learning about character strengths so it is easier to make friends, and I also really liked the activities that we did on camp. I tried everything that we could do on camp, and it was really fun. Also, I’m proud of our school winning the round robin.

Raksha: I am proud of becoming more confident and making more friends. I became friends with my current friends, Ella, Sachi, Venuli and Golnaz. I initially did not interact with other people when I first started at BEPS but now I feel more confident and I am ready to face anything.

Sachi: I am proud of improving my confidence! In Semester Two I really wanted to get the PLA award because I was determined to make myself a better person and grow with a shiny award. At first, it was all about the award but it actually made me more confident and class time became more fun! Now, I am able to express myself freely in the class!

Ira: I am proud that I have learned to ask for help when I need it. I also learned to participate more in specialist subjects by joining clubs. I improved my leadership skills by working with others and tolerating them. Overall, my confidence and academics have improved.

Brianna: I am proud of many things, like having confidence in camp. I have an extreme fear of heights but I still managed to do all the activities. Not only at camp, but I started to open up towards my peers and classmates. I also strongly believe that I have improved in academics, like my grammar and adding more detail into my work.

Amelia: I am proud of my maths this term. In essential assessment on my pre-test, I got a Year 9 for patterns and algebra. I surprised myself because I never got this high on my pre-tests in assessments. Another aspect that I would like to celebrate is my confidence. Having the chance to talk in front of the school boosted my confidence. At first, I was very nervous but as time passed by, I got used to it and I now like to talk in front of crowds.
