Precious Plastic Melbourne Incursion

In Term 2, Bill from Precious Plastic Melbourne, came to visit our school to show the students how plastic can be recycled and turned into materials, such as a carabiner. Bill shared his knowledge about plastic and how it is affecting our world. We loved this opportunity and found it so fascinating to see our plastic transform!

Literacy in Year 6

In Year 6, students have learnt many aspects of literacy such as debates, poetry, persuasive, narratives, responses and recounts.

Below are some pictures of students in Year 6, attempting their own class debates.

Debating helps students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and fosters collaboration and respect for their peers. Through debate training, students learn to communicate confidently and effectively, think critically, and work together as a team.
