Congratulations to Eve N (Year 4) and William W (Year 5), who have both qualified for the Southern Metropolitan Regional Finals, to be held this Friday. Good luck and we will have a follow up report in our next newsletter.

Hooptime Basketball Championships- Hooptime Regional Champions! 🏆

After winning the district finals earlier this year, our incredible Grade 5 and 6 Girls Hooptime team have done it again — winning the Regional Finals and qualifying for the State Hooptime Championships to be held in December!

The team — Natalia, Aria, Kaylee, Ashlee, Hala, Niah, and Mia — displayed outstanding teamwork, skill, and determination throughout the day. They overcame several strong inner-city Melbourne schools to reach the final, where they defeated Glenferrie Primary in an impressive 13–3 victory.

Apart from a narrow loss by just a few points in one match, the girls dominated all their other games with commanding wins. Their magnificent team play and individual efforts were on full display, and they should be extremely proud of this fantastic achievement.

Congratulations, girls — State Finals, here we come!
