Vale Andy Caprackas

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our good friend and colleague, Andy (Andrius) Caprackas.

Andy was one of our trusted and highly experienced Administrative Consultants at FOI Support. He has worked in that capacity for numerous clients since 2012.

Andy had over 35 years of FOI experience including as former FOI manager and decision maker for Australia Post and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, before joining the team in our associated consulting business, FOI Support, in 2012.

Andy's enthusiasm and tireless approach in assisting clients with their FOI support needs was beyond question.  His commitment to the task was exceptional.  He always approached any work matter with zeal and good humour.

Anyone who had the good fortune to get to know Andy would agree he was a true gentleman; someone about whom you would struggle to find a bad word being said .  He was respected, admired and deeply liked by all who had the pleasure of getting to know him.

Andy will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts are with his immediate and extended family, friends, and other colleagues at this difficult time.
