Week 9 news ......

As we quickly approach the end of the term there are still several exciting events taking place.

The senior school students are happily preparing for three days full of magic, myth and adventure at Kryal Castle which commences on Monday.  There is great excitement about having the opportunity to view the Jousting competition! In preparation for the camp the students have been busy in the trade kitchen taking part in hands on learning activities including measuring, mixing and baking delicious snacks to take to share whilst on camp. A reminder to parents that the students will return to school on Wednesday evening at approximately 7.30pm.

The SRC have made the final arrangements for the football parade and footy lunch day on Wednesday. Please remember to return your orders to the office as soon as possible to ensure students don’t miss out on a pie or sausage roll on the day. Everyone is looking forward to seeing Maggie and Bruce in their footy colors.

Lastly, I would like to acknowledge some fantastic news about one of our Upper Junior students. Heath Sanders from Upper Junior Spence was awarded the Youth Empowerment Award with Frankston City Council in the Community Category this week. He was awarded for all his hard work, commitment and dedication to helping people by volunteering in the charity Bayside Community Collective. Heath has now been nominated for citizen of the year.

Congratulations Heath we are all very proud of you.
