Principal's Report

Dear Families,
WELCOME BBQ
It was lovely to see so many families come and enjoy the Welcome BBQ last week. It was a relaxed, casual evening with a great selection of foods for us to enjoy.
SWIMMING PROGRAM
Next week, we will have our Swimming Program at Aquamoves in Shepparton. Students will travel by bus to and from the venue. You are most welcome to pop in to watch your child during their lesson. Items to pack include a towel, bathers, bag for wet clothing and goggles for those who need them. Please ensure all clothing (including school clothing) is labelled with your child's name.
The timetable is as follows:
| Group | Time |
|---|---|
| Grade 5/6’s | 9:45am – 10:30am |
| Grade 3/4’s | 10:30am – 11:15am |
| Grade 1/2’s | 11:15am – 12:00pm |
| Foundation | 12:15pm – 1:00pm (except Wednesday) |
Please note: There will be NO pub lunches on Friday 27th February, due to swimming.
PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS
Bookings for these are now live on XUNO. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to celebrate their learning at school. If you find that the days/times do not suit, please contact your child's teacher to make other arrangements. Alternatively, phone interviews are also available.
Please ensure you book by 3:30pm tomorrow as they will be turned off.
CHANGES TO AFTERNOON BUS TRAVEL
We ask that you notify the school by phone if there are any changes to your child’s planned afternoon bus travel arrangements.
Please do not send these changes via email or on XUNO. Emails and XUNO messages are not always seen in time, and calling the school ensures that your message is received and passed on promptly.
If your child’s way of travelling has changed from what was planned when they arrived at school in the morning, please contact the school office directly before 2:30pm on the day of the change.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep all students safe and accounted for each afternoon.
DIVISION SWIMMING
Well done to Fletcher P who completed at the Division Swimming in Shepparton this week. He placed first in the 50m Breaststroke and second in the 50m Freestyle. He will be competing at the Regional Swimming Championships in Wangaratta in March. We wish him all the best!
MOUNTAIN BIKE COMPETITION
Last weekend, Jake J raced at Mt Baw Baw in Round #4 of the Victorian Downhill Series. He placed 1st in the u13s catergory! As part of a state based series, the win now puts Jake in 1st place overall with 2 rounds to go. Congratulations Jake!
