Harmony Day
Friday March 20
On Friday 20th March, Baxter Primary School will celebrate Harmony Day — a day that recognises and celebrates Australia’s rich cultural diversity and promotes inclusivity, respect and belonging.
Students are invited to wear a splash of orange with their school uniform (please note this is not a free dress day). Orange represents social communication, meaningful conversations and mutual respect — values that align closely with our school community.
Following recess, students will participate in multi-age rotations, engaging in a range of activities designed to celebrate diversity, encourage connection and promote a sense of belonging across the school.
These mixed-age groups provide a wonderful opportunity for students to build relationships with their buddies, learn from one another and celebrate what makes each of us unique. We look forward to a great Harmony Day!
