We don't kick each other
We respect personal space

We welcomed our parents/carers and family to our first School Assembly for 2026 last Friday morning. Yr 2/3O delighted us with a song called "Dad, I want to be a camel". Congratulations to our class award winners and to our Swimming Champions for 2026. Head over to our School Assembly tab in the Newsletter to see all the photos from the day.

Turn Up Awards
We will again be running the Turn Up Awards this year. The "Turn Up" award was introduced last year to encourage our students to attend school every day. Each day your child attends their name will be entered into the draw to receive a paddle pop voucher. A voucher will be issued each week to each class. If your child attends 5 times in that week they have 5 entries. If they attend two days in that week they have 2 entries. Congratulations to our winners for Week 5:
K/1B - Skylar
2/3O - Harry
4/5/6T - Zakk

NAPLAN will begin next Wednesday, for Years 3 and 5. We ask that all students in Years 3 and 5 ensure that they are at school to complete the NAPLAN testing.
Colour Run
It is less than 2 weeks until our Colour Run will be held on Friday, 13th March. It is not too late to register for your fundraising account. Information to register has been sent home. Fundraising is now open and will conclude on the day of the Colour Run. Check out below the amazing prizes to be won just by fundraising. If you did not receive information to register, please contact our school office for details. This event is always a success and a lot of fun. We look forward to holding it again this year.

Harmony Day
Harmony Day is a day to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, based on the successful integration of migrants into our community. Harmony Day is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values. Held every year on 21 March. The Day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We will be observing Harmony Day on Thursday, 19th March this year with classroom activities, and we ask all students to wear orange on the day.
Kind regards
Kathy Nott
