REACH Foundation Incursion

On Monday we had our second visit from the REACH Foundation.  This time the focus of their visit was Teamwork.  The Grid Race game was the causes of much frustration at first - but once we got our teamwork happening, we all finished the course.

The Addams Family

Last week, Senior students were lucky enough to attend the dress rehearsal of Mt Lilydale's musical production 'The Addams Family'.  The show was fantastic with some very talented singing and acting.  The students were impressed to find out that the music was also performed live by the school orchestra and the lights, sets, costumes and makeup were all produced by students.  We all enjoyed spotting Lexi's big sister, Caitlin and Ivy's big sister, Natasha!

Round Robin Sports Day

This Wednesday the Senior students attended the Round Robin Sports day, competing against other local schools in soccer, netball and volleystars.  Our children displayed excellent sportsmanship on the day.  All teams won some games and lost some games in the preliminary rounds with the netballers finishing 3rd of 12 and our  two volleystars teams playing off against each other for the trophy.

Hooptime

Due to issues with the floor at the Yarra Centre, Hooptime has been postponed.  We are awaiting new dates.

Graduation

This year, we are doing something different for graduation.  We have booked the Warburton Golf Club for our venue on Wednesday 11th December.  Further details will be shared as we get closer to the end of the year.
