100 DAYS OF SCHOOL!!!!
Last week the Foundation students celebrated their 100 days of school! We are so proud of all the achievements that they have already made in their schooling journey! To celebrate the 100 days, the Foundation students dressed up as 100-year-olds, had a party, counted to 100, completed 100 exercises and 100 dance moves as well as playing some games and other 100-themed activities! It was a day filled with lots of fun and we loved seeing everyone in their costumes!!!
Puppet Plays
This Term we are learning a lot about Puppets! Each week in class we read a different fairy tale story and each Literacy Group gets to perform a retell of the story using finger puppets! The Foundations have been absolutely loving this! So far we have done The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk and The Three Billy Goats Gruff! There is a link below to take you to watch the puppet plays!
A flight to Paris!!
To celebrate the Olympics in Paris the F/1/2 students created their own passports that included the sport they would do if they were at the Olympics! We then took a flight to Paris- the F/1/2 students had to check in at boarding and go through security. When they got onto their plane they had a safety briefing and were offered refreshments! They absolutely loved it! They then created their own medals whilst watching some of the Olympics!
Pevan and Sarah
On Friday last week, Mrs B got to meet Pevan and Sarah!! Pevan and Sarah are two wonderful children singers who sing educational and wellbeing songs that we love to use in the F/1/2 rooms! Mrs B was so excited to meet them and even got to watch them sing some of their songs!!
