Indigenous Education

A BIG thankyou to all of you for your kind donations for our Walk-a-thon where we raised money for Opening the Doors Foundation which raises money for First Nations students needing resources to attend education. 

It was wonderful to have our Walk-a-thon last week where every student participated by walking or running our school cross-country track. We were very lucky with the weather, however, it was very frosty! The kids did an amazing job!

Each coloured house tried their best to see how many laps they could do! Here is the total number of laps, each colour did:

Blue: 312 laps

Red: 316 laps

Yellow: 303 laps

Green: 356 laps

We are pleased to announce that we raised a total of $775. Thank you so much again for your generous donations!
