Shift / Role Descriptions

Barista (Coffee van): Making coffee on a professional coffee machine in our coffee van. Barista experience is ideal for this role. There will be a second Barista on shift with you.

Food Van Cashier: Selling food and drinks to customers as well as heating up the hot food on offer. You will be using an iPad for the Point-Of Sale system as well as an Eftpos machine (guidance and instructions will be provided for tasks)

Deliveries: Delivering food and goods to and from coffee and food vans. May also be assisting Mobile Food Team. Must be over 18 to drive vehicles on site

Cashier/Milkshakes (Coffee van): Taking customer coffee and drink orders and accepting payment while also helping make milkshakes. You will be using an iPad for the Point-Of Sale system as well as an Eftpos machine (guidance and instructions will be provided for tasks)

Food Production: Part of a team making bulk sandwiches, rolls and wraps to be sold in the pavilion and food vans. e.g. buttering bread, adding sandwich fillings, cutting and packaging ready for sale, table clean up etc

All Rounder/Variety: Generally in the main pavilion, you will do a variety of task depending on where you are needed most - a jack of all trades

Pre-Day Setup: Part of a team setting up the pavilion and vans ready for our three main days. Unpacking the shipping container, setting up appliances, cleaning, food preparation

Post Day Pack up: Part of a team bringing in all equipment from vans, cleaning, stocktaking and packing away our items and equipment into the container and cupboards - so it's ready to go for the next year.
