Visual Arts - Noah 1A (Be a Learner) Noah showed fantastic focus, perseverance and determination while learning to sew in Art this week. He applied new skills and successfully managed to create a running stitch on his crown. Congratulations and well done Noah!
Performing Arts - Youssef 4A (Be a learner) Youssef displayed great enthusiasm and determination while singing in his class choir during Performing Arts. He modelled his responsibility to his peers to help them stay in key and on beat while singing ostinato. Well done Youssef!
6A - Erimyas for demonstrating confidence in using higher-level language, including accurate mathematical terminology, to justify and explain your mathematical thinking and problem-solving strategies. While your wonderfully loud voice certainly keeps me on my toes, I am continually impressed by the way you show consideration for others. Your empathy, kindness, and willingness to help those around you when they need support are qualities to be very proud of. Great job buddy!
6B - Semaet for showing pride in the classroom and taking great care with your work. You should feel proud of your effort. Well done!
6C - Azra for working incredibly hard and putting in a huge amount of effort across all subjects—especially reading. You are doing an amazing job and are a wonderful role model for the class. Keep it up, Azra!
5A - Jensen (Be respectful) for consistently being a respectful and supportive classmate. You demonstrate our school values every day through your kindness, positive attitude, and the way you treat others with respect. 4B - Emric (Be a Learner) for showing great determination and resilience in Mathematics this week. During our fractions lessons, Emric worked hard to partition wholes into equal shares and could explain his thinking to the entire class! Keep up the fantastic effort, Emric!

3A - Alexander (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in his learning this week during writing, He tried his best to include everything on the checklist in his writing piece. Keep up the great effort Alexander!
2A- Jazz (Be a Learner) for demonstrating resilience in mathematics this week. Jazz has worked incredibly hard in Maths and should be very proud of his efforts. Jazz has shown determination, confidence, and resilience when solving multiplication problems and contributing to number talks. Jazz always tries his best, even when learning is challenging. His persistence and positive attitude are helping him grow as a mathematician. Keep up the fantastic work!
2B - Nooh (Be a Learner) for his wonderful effort in his learning. Nooh always shows enthusiasm and tries his best to improve his work. This week, Nooh wrote a narrative with a Sizzling Start to hook the reader and used stronger describing words to make his writing more interesting. Outstanding effort, Nooh!
1A - Zainab- (Be a Learner) for trying your best and taking pride in your work. You present your work neatly with beautiful illustrations, confidently share your learning with your teacher and ask for help when you need it. Keep up the fantastic effort and positive attitude.
1B - Jai (Be a Learner) for always trying his best, challenging himself, and showing a fantastic attitude towards his learning. His hard work and determination are something to be proud of. Keep it up, Jai!

Visual Arts - Trajko 6B (Be a Learner) Trajko showed resilience and a growth mindset whilst sewing in Art this week, changing his attitude from “I can’t do this” to “Yes! I’ve got this!!” It is so lovely to have him back in art classes again. Congratulations and well done Trajko!
Performing Arts - Max 6B (Be a Learner) for showing perseverance and determination when playing the ukulele in Performing Arts. He displayed a positive attitude and a ‘never give up’ mindset while playing chords and individual frets. Well done!
Chinese - Shazain 2A (Be a Learner) for demonstrating resilience to learn Chinese and share his ideas and speaking in Chinese with confidence. Well done Shezain.

5C - Skylar (Be a Learner) for improving her confidence in reading and writing. In reading groups she participates, shares and completes all tasks in the set time. Skylar makes an effort to understand new vocabulary and regularly uses these new words (especially science terms) when answering questions. This is evident in her writing as well and she is also including higher quality descriptive words.
