Students are encouraged to bring their library bags in on Wednesday or Thursday (depending on their borrowing day) to have a chance at winning the funky fruit reward for the week. Last week's winner was Olly Kelso (Year 1) who won "Percy the Pineapple" - he was extremely happy and said that he was going to take Percy everywhere with him :)

Saturday 14 February was Library Lovers' Day, and I decided to get to know what the students at St Mary's love best. After surveying the Year 1 - 6 students in their second week back, we determined three of the top favourite things across the school are: sport, animals and computers. The students have enjoyed borrowing from displays built around these subjects and also helped with decorating the library to mark the occasion. Students also made a bookmark for someone that they love.

Borrowing will occur during library lessons to give the students more focused time to engage with library borrowing. Students must have a library bag with them on borrowing days.
Please refer to the list below to see which day your child/ren will need to bring their library bags and return any books that are due in order to borrow new books.
Children will not be allowed to borrow without a library bag from Week 5 onwards.
ES1 - Wednesday
S1 - Thursday
S2 - Thursday
S3 - Wednesday
