Years of Service- June was a big month with Danni, Nicole and Jess all being recognised for their 5 year anniversary working at Haven.
2025 Enrolments
Enrolments have now opened for our 3 & 4 year old Kindergarten programs.
Please note, Haven will always offer enrolments and extra days to our current families (including siblings) before welcoming in new families.
When completing an enrolment form we encourage families to circle you first preference of days to accommodate for any changes in bookings in 2025 (including more days or change in the days).
Forest & Field
-Funded Kindergarten offers will be made in August
-22 places in Field and 36 places in Forest (1 to 11 ratio)
River & Sun
-Enrolment forms will be available from August 5th to be returned by 30th August.
-Offers & places (for 2025) to be confirmed in September
-16 places in River and 26 places in Sun (1 to 4 ratio)
Mid Year Updates & Storypark
Across July you will receive an individual mid year report/ summary of your child's current development and progress shown at Haven. We encourage all families to share any goals you may have for your child to achieve across these next 6 months.
Remainder that on Storypark each term you will see
-One individual observation demonstrating children's interests, progress, knowledge and/or new skills.
These observations will include how we will further support the learning being displayed.
-Group observations and special moment observations
-Community photos (each day to weekly dependent on room)

Kiosk Sign In/Out & Fobs
It is extremely important that families are using the iPads/tablets at reception to sign children in for the day and also out when getting collected. This data is submitted to Centrelink to receive your CCS benefits and guides us with ratio requirements across the days.
If you do not know how to sign in or out or need a new pin code please email through to rovwille@havenearlylearning.com.au so we can help.
Fobs- Please note, access fobs are limited to 2 per family, with lost fobs charged at $15. Please do not provide fobs to family members/ friends that are not on your regular pickup list. This is vital to ensure we are safeguarding children to be able to greet , check IDs and direct down to rooms to ensure all chidlren are going home with the correct person.
Carpark & Donations
As many of you know our carpark gets very busy at certain times of the day, with majority of our staff members parking offsite.
We ask everyone to please slow down when coming into our carpark, especially when coming around the corner. It is also strongly recommended that children are encouraged not to run down the hallways by themselves, press the green button or be outside the door.
We would hate for any accidents or injuries to happen.
Lastly, could all toy donations please be stopped. While we greatly appreciate the support like many of you our spacing is limited and often donations are not made for a childcare environment.
If you do have donations we recommend sending a photo through before bringing it into the service. However, book are always greatly appreciated.
