Register now for the upcoming fun run on Sunday 25 October in Warracknabeal, to support healthy communities. There are varying length runs of 21kms, 10kms, 5kms and a kids run with start and finishing at the Lion's Park, Warracknabeal. To register click on image below.
Invitation to Contribute to the Buloke Shire Taste of Our Community Cookbook
As part of Children’s Week 2026, Buloke Shire Council is inviting children and families to celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions and stories that make our community unique through the creation of the Buloke Shire Taste of Our Community Cookbook.
Children up to 12 years are invited to submit a favourite family recipe along with a short story about its significance. This may be a recipe that has been shared through generations, a family tradition, or a meal that brings people together.
Schools, kindergartens and playgroups are also welcome to submit a recipe on behalf of their class, school or group.
The cookbook aims to showcase the rich cultural diversity, traditions and connections that contribute to a strong sense of belonging across Buloke Shire.

Submission deadline: COB Friday, 13 November.
