Aoife's Message

Good morning Holy Cross families,

We're excited to see the Sports Precinct almost up and running, some of our staff will have the chance to take a tour of the facilities in advance of the opening. We can't wait to see the difference this facility makes to the community and look forward to working in partnership to enhance sporting opportunities for our children. Thank you to every member of our community for your patience and support while the road was closed, I'm sure everyone is glad to see it open today!

Our 2023 Annual Report to the Community is attached below. It will also be available on our website. There is much to celebrate from the work we completed in the last calendar year. Our school continues to go from strength to strength, with further goals set for ourselves throughout 2024. We are a school that is committed to continuous improvement. We aim to meet these goals through professional development, openness to new learning, responsiveness to data and research and a passion for ensuring that children are at the centre. Please check out the Learning & Teaching section of the newsletter, along with the Holy Cross Happenings and Wellbeing section for more detail on the learning that has been taking place over the last two weeks.

Prep 2025

We have had many school tours recently, with positive feedback and excitement around all that our school offers. We look forward to a thriving community of learners in 2025, Prep enrolments will close on July 31st. To assist with future planning could I please ask that any current families submit enrolment forms as soon as possible. Forms are available from the office.

 Professional Development for staff

A reminder that Tuesday 11th June will be a school closure day. Staff will be engaged in professional learning related to wellbeing.

Whole School Prayer Gathering - all warmly welcome to join us this afternoon

Our Year 4s have been busy preparing to lead our school in prayer. The sound of joyous singing has been drifting up the corridor this morning. See below for a snapshot of the beautiful prayer space they have created for us. Please join us at 3pm in the MPR if you are available.
