Year 9 Camp

The camp has been brilliant so far, with all Year 9 students showing great enthusiasm for all the activities offered. Students have embraced the spectacular weather and have challenged themselves to try something out of their comfort zone.

Students have explored the walking trails of the Pinnacle, Chataqua Peak and Venus Baths with picturesque views over the Grampian’s region. Groups have shown great leadership and team building through team initiatives such as catapulting and the Amazing Race through the Halls Gap town.

All students have returned with a smile or a story to share, making school camps memorable experiences for years to come. I wish to thank all of the students for the positivity shown, the support given, and their willingness to give everything a try.

Staff have been very impressed with the cohort and have thoroughly enjoyed themselves as leaders of these groups. Thank you to all the staff for making this camp possible and memorable for our students. I am sure many of the shared campfire stories will be one to reflect upon and bring a smile to everyone’s faces.

Year 10

The end-of-semester examinations are fast approaching, so I wish the Year 10 cohort good luck with exam preparations. Pastoral sessions regarding exam preparation and revision techniques have been provided to all homerooms. We hope these sessions provided some strategies that may support you in the lead-up to exams. Please note that the exam schedule for the last day has changed, and this schedule has been emailed to all students.
