This term, our Student Leadership Team has been working hard to build a school that feels connected, supportive, and full of pride. We wanted to give you all a little snapshot of what we've achieved so far and celebrate our successes together.

CDS Launch: A Great Success!

We’re thrilled to share that the launch of the Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) at Sandringham College has been a huge success! A massive shoutout to everyone on the leadership team for pushing this initiative forward, and a big thank you to the entire school community for your enthusiastic participation. By working together, we’re making our school greener and more sustainable—so thank you to all the students, teachers, and families who have played a part!

School Beanies Have Arrived!

Our official Sandringham College beanies arrived earlier this term, and we couldn’t be happier with the response! We’re so grateful to everyone who has purchased one and shown their school spirit. If you haven’t grabbed yours yet, be sure to get one soon and wear your school pride!

R U OK? Day: Check-in and Connect

We've been working hard to organise meaningful activities for R U OK? Day this year, with a focus on raising mental health awareness and the importance of checking in with each other. Our activities are all about starting those important conversations, reminding us to ask, “R U OK?” Sometimes, all it takes is a simple chat to make a big difference in someone’s day.

Mary Poppins Musical: A Magical Success

The curtains may have closed, but we’re still in awe of the incredible Mary Poppins musical! A huge congratulations to our Performing Arts and Dance Leaders for their creativity and leadership in bringing this magical show to life. The performances, choreography, and hard work behind the scenes were absolutely stunning. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making it such an unforgettable experience!

Building Pride, Community, and Connection

At the heart of everything we do as student leaders is the desire to build school pride, strengthen our community, and create meaningful connections. None of these initiatives would be possible without the support of our amazing school community. We sincerely thank each and every one of you for getting behind our ideas, participating with enthusiasm, and helping us make Sandringham College a place we can all be proud of.
