UWA Connect Scholarship – New & Open 

The UWA Connect Scholarship is a new scholarship that replaces the UWA Hacket Scholarship. 

It is an equity scholarship – so relevant for any students facing challenges in accessing tertiary education. Challenges can include being first in family to go to uni.

It is worth $5000 per year with a $1500 upfront payment to help you get started with study.

The John Curtin Scholarship Program is now open for applications.

If you are one of the top students at you school and you want to go to Curtin in 2025, ask you principal to nominate you for the Curtin Scholarship Program,

High school principals are invited to nominate students in the top 5% of the school’s graduating year who can demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities and engagement in community service.

 

 The nomination form and the reference letter are to be completed and endorsed by the high school principal. These documents need to be attached to the student’s application and submitted online by the student.

Talk with teachers if you are eligible

Teachers are busy and they often see the brightest, shiniest or most recent events when they are thinking of recommending someone for a scholarship. 

If you have made a positive contribution to ONE of these three categories, why not ask your school to remember your efforts when they are nominating someone for Murdoch University’s $12,000 Ngala Kwop Biddi Brighter Futures Scholarship:

  1. Sustainability
  2. First Nations OR 
  3. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. 

This is one of those scholarships that does not require you to be an academic superhero.

A $12,000 Scholarship for students from equity, underrepresented, or marginalised groups, namely: Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (ATSI), Low Socio Economic ( Financial Hardship) Regional and Remote, First in Family, Women in STEM, and LGBTQIA, to study the Bachelor Engineering Honours

Murdoch New Experienced Based Entry Pathway

Murdoch’s new Experienced based entry assesses your academic and vocational and life achievements, in combination. We take into consideration evidence of extracurricular and life experiences, such as employment, volunteering, work experience, sports coaching, and school and community leadership because these are great indicators of your interests, motivation, commitment, and desire to succeed and contribute.

 

Depending on what you have achieved, we will assign points based on your academic and extracurricular experiences. You will need a minimum of 3 academic points and 1 experience point for this pathway.

Westpac Young Technologists Scholarships are designed for high school graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to explore its potential for good. 

The scholarship delivers up to three years of financial support for your studies, networking opportunities, mentoring programs and paid internships. 

 

We’re looking for curious young minds, open to new ideas and untapped opportunities.
