CAREERS MEETINGS
Meetings with Ms Dimasi will be scheduled throughout Term 1 for Year 12 students, and in Term 2 for Year 11 students.
This meeting aims to help you plan your future pathways after College and ensure you have the necessary information to make informed decisions that align with your goals.
If you are unsure of the direction you wish to take, this meeting is even more important.
Students will receive an email with a calendar invite.
This meeting is not optional.
CONSTRUCTION INDUCTION CARD FOR WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS
Under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017, the college must ensure that students undertaking work experience in the building or construction trades have completed construction induction training before they begin their placement.
Therefore, we are offering students the opportunity to complete this one-day course delivered by Runnymede Safety. Note this opportunity is limited to students who intend to undertake work experience in 2025.
Date: Tuesday, 11 March (student home study day)
Time: 9.00am to 3.00pm. Students will need to arrive at 8.45am
Location: St Joseph's College Mildura
Room: M15
Cost: The cost of this course is covered in the Global School Fees.
Students are permitted to wear casual clothes on this day and are required to bring their student ID card, USI number, bottled water, a pen, recess and lunch.
