Principal's Message
TERM 3 SEMESTER 2
Bonjour à tous.
ABSENCES: A reminder that it is a requirement of all families to submit an absence on the day of the absence by 9.30am via PAM, phn call (selecting option 1 and leaving reason) or via email. It is a legal requirement of the school to ensure that all absences are explained.
Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Tuesday 4th and Thursday 6th August. They will run for 10 minutes per session from 3.30-6pm. If you feel you will require a longer interview time, please make alternative arrangements with your child's teacher. Bookings will be via PAM - and will be opened on Monday for bookings. Please note that if your child is on a PLP (Personalised Learning Plan) and has PSG meetings, you do not need to make an interview time.
Please note that Mrs Gannon in 1/2 G and Mrs Ryan 1/2 E will not be available for P T interviews during this time. Deb and Judy will be holding interviews later in August.
BUS TRAVELLERS REMINDERS
We would like to remind families that all students wanting to use the Town buses and the Wonthaggi PTV bus are required to have a Youth MYKI, and carry the card with them when accessing these buses.
Youth myki is a one-off $5 purchase from Transport Victoria and allows students under 18 to travel free on public transport.
In the event that a town bus is at full passenger capacity, whether your child has a MYKI on them could be the deciding factor if they are able to board the bus or not.
This is also a timely reminder to remind all students who travel on a bus that this is an expectation that all students are courteous, respectful to the driver, other users and to respect the property of the bus lines.
