Term 3 in 5/6L

Buddies - 100 Days of School:
We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our buddies to celebrate their milestone of 100 days of school. It was a joyful occasion and a wonderful opportunity to share in their excitement.
St John Vianney's Feast Day:
To celebrate St John Vianney’s Feast Day, students took part in a range of activities designed to test their coordination and accuracy. A special thank you to our Grade 6 leaders, whose support and enthusiasm contributed greatly to the success of the day.
Melbourne Zoo Excursion:
As part of our unit on World Habitats, students visited the Melbourne Zoo. They observed how different animals adapt to survive in their environments and explored exhibits including seals, giraffes, gorillas, lions, and the butterfly house.
Habitats Expo:
To conclude our World Habitats unit, students collaborated in groups to design and create dioramas of a chosen habitat. This project encouraged them to showcase their creativity while considering the unique features of each environment, such as plant life, climate, and landforms. The final results were outstanding, reflecting both hard work and teamwork.
We wish all families a happy and restful end to the term and a safe and enjoyable holiday break!
