Term 3 Adventures

Term 3 has been a busy and exciting time in our classroom, filled with new challenges and plenty of learning adventures! I’m so proud of how 1/2B students have all worked so diligently on their concert dance and have been giving their all in rehearsals! We hope you enjoy 'Night at the Museum' and our amazing moves on stage! 

Book Week: Book an Adventure

Book Week was a blast with our dress up character parade and exploration and reading of plenty of CBCA shortlisted books. 

Forces: 

Our knowledge Rich Unit this term explored forces.  We learned about the forces around us and how they are used to create motion or movement. We had an opportunity to think and behave like scientists and see forces at work when we predicted and experimented with magnetism, gravity and pushing and pulling! 

Fractions:

Our final Mathematics unit for the term is all about fractions. Last week our class folded, flipped, and had a fraction-filled blast as we explored halves and quarters using nothing but paper, teamwork, and a whole lot of curiosity!
