Year 5/6 Musical: 

Frozen Kids 

Music has filled the air throughout Term 3, and Middle School students have been central to the celebrations. Fresh from the success of We Will Rock You, which showcased performers from Years 7–12 earlier in the term, the spotlight shifted last week to our Year 5 and 6 students for their production of Frozen Kids.

As part of the Overnewton Festival of Music – a series of eight performance events – the show featured nearly 60 Year 5 and 6 students who worked tirelessly to bring the much-loved Disney story to the stage. With impressive acting, vibrant choreography, and heartfelt singing, the cast captured the humour, magic, and emotion of the tale. From show-stopping numbers to tender moments, their performance drew enthusiastic applause and plenty of smiles.

The success of Frozen Kids is a credit to the dedication of our students and the support of staff and families who helped bring the production to life. Congratulations to the cast and crew on such a memorable achievement – it was certainly hard for the audience to “let it go”!
