It’s a Goode Thing! EBT 2025

The 2025 DHS EBT It’s a Goode Thing team consisted of four female and four male riders ranging in age from Year 8 to Year 10.  The team tallied 55th overall out of 110 total vehicles competing: 10th overall in our B2 Human Powered Vehicle Category (mixed students up to Year 10). It’s a Goode Thing travelled 404 laps with the lap average being 3 minutes, 34 seconds, and 638.32 kms travelled in total.

We are so very proud of our team and the new Trike! This race is the second year of competition, and it showed us how sensible the big investment in a fibreglass chassis was and ensured our riders were safe and protected appropriately. There were no mechanical incidents or “Return to Pit’s” stickers received due to roll-overs, so we are so pleased that the experience was wonderful for the split gender rider experience.

CONGRATULATIONS to riders Jack, Hugo, Charlie, Jake, Evie, Halle, Sophie and Alyssa and their amazing pit crew Daniel, Marty, Chloe and Luca!  Also, HUGE THANKS Mr Tatchell and Mrs Battersby for their amazing efforts!  It is also a HUGE commitment from parents and carers and without them, the weekend could not be so successful without them...THANK YOU ALL!
