CATHOLIC MISSIONS:
Catholic Missions is the Pope's International Mission Agency. Each year we raise funds to assist the work of Catholic Missions. The focus this year is on the people of Timor-Leste who are facing health and wellness challenges.
As a fun way to raise money we will once again have a Crazy Hair/Crazy Sock Day. This will take place on Thursday 9th November, remember to bring along a gold coin donation.
The children will also participate in making a Sockball to be used in a Soccer Goal Challenge.
Thank you so much for the generous donations of string, wool, material scraps, old T-shirts and plastic bags which have been sent in already for making Sockballs. If you are able to donate any of these materials, could you please send them into school.
HOLY ROSARY:
October is dedicated each year to the Holy Rosary as the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on 7th October. The students have been praying the Rosary each day throughout this month and are learning about the Mysteries; The Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous.
