Student Exchange Program

This year, our exchange program with our Japanese sister school Nigawa Gakuin High School continues.

Year 12 2025 Graduate Gema is currently in Japan enjoying an 8-week exchange. Gema has well and truly involved herself in school and cultural life in Japan. She is becoming more confident with the language, has already participated in class presentations, shrine visits, and cooking!

Meanwhile, here in Brisbane, we welcomed Nagisa T, who arrived on Australia Day and will spend the next 10 months here at Mt A. Nagisa is settling in well. She has been enjoying the warm weather swimming with her host family and visiting the beach. At school, Nagisa is undertaking classes such as Visual Art and Hospitality while also improving her English with Ms Porter’s Essential English class.

We look forward to sharing more of Nagisa’s experience with our community throughout 2026.
