As a College Community, we congratulate Jo-Anne Duggan on a Wonderful Career in Education.
Jo-Anne is retiring at the end of the 2025 after 40 years of extraordinary service at Pakenham Secondary College – we thank you Jo-Anne for your wonderful contribution to the Pakenham Secondary College Community.
Jo-Anne has filled a number of important roles during this period of time, from Leading Teacher to Expert Teacher Positions and everything in between – Jo-Anne has been able to successfully lead the College in so many important areas.
Jo-Anne has an eye for detail, and her knowledge of everything that is education and that of our College is immense. She has been such a strong supporter of our school not only in the areas of her teaching and leadership, but more broadly in so many other areas of the College – our school has been incredibly fortunate to have Jo-Anne Duggan as a part of our great school.
Jo-Anne cares deeply about the College and has had a profound and positive impact on the lives of so many in an outstanding career at Pakenham Secondary College. Jo-Anne has set high standards for herself in her time in education, and she has expected high standards of others, including her students. She has been a committed and dedicated educator who has sought to continually improve the outcomes of students.
She has cared deeply about the students she has supported, guided and taught in her long and illustrious career – she wants what is best for our students. So many of our students have benefited from my Jo-Anne’s expertise, and from her supportive approach.
Jo-Anne’s care and support of Pakenham Secondary College more broadly for over 40 years has been outstanding, and we thank her for everything that she has done to help make our school as great as what it is today; we thank you Jo-Anne, and we wish you and your family all the very best with your future endeavours,

Celebrating June Edwards’ Dedicated Career in Education
As a College Community, we congratulate June Edwards on a Wonderful Career in Education.
June is retiring at the end of 2025 after 24 years of extraordinary service at Pakenham Secondary College – we thank you June for your wonderful contribution to the Pakenham Secondary College Community.
June has been employed as an Education Support worker at our great school, and she has fulfilled a number of roles from Receptionist and Accounts Receivable to Administrative Support to Business Manager – June has excelled in these roles at the College.
June has been our Business Manager for nearly 15 years. The role of Business Manager at any school is complex and demanding, yet June has been incredibly successful in this important role – we have been very fortunate to have June Edwards as our Business Manager at Pakenham Secondary College.
As Business Manager, June has been so knowledgeable and reliable in her outstanding management of the College’s Finance and Human Relations (or HR) requirements. On an annual basis, her ability to best understand and then apply the financial resources available to our College in the best interests of students and families has been exceptional. From a HR perspective, her colleagues have been incredibly well supported given her dedicated approach in this area of her role.
June has worked to the highest of standards to best fulfil her role as Business Manager of Pakenham Secondary College. Nothing is too much for June – she is only too happy to help out others. June is a dedicated and supportive colleague who has worked tirelessly in the best interests of our great school.
June has been such an important part of Pakenham Secondary College. Her level of support for students, families and staff has been outstanding. June cares deeply about Pakenham Secondary College, and her positive contribution to our College Community over an extended period of time is appreciated – we are very grateful to have had June as part of the Pakenham Secondary College Community.
