The Adventures of Frankie & Ash
School Support Dogs
Hello Everyone,
It is Frankie here (Ash is sitting on my tail while I write this but she says hello too).
We have had the BEST summer holidays. We went to Beach lots and did Very Important swimming in the sea and also in the pool. I like the pool because it does not steal the sand out from under my paws. There were also BBQs where sausages sometimes accidentally fall on the ground and that is Very Lucky for us.
We also have a new friend staying with us for a little while. His name is Rufus and he is our sister’s Labrador. Rufus is very fun and also very naughty. Together we have been getting up to all kinds of mischief, including running very fast for no reason, stealing each other’s beds, and pretending we cannot hear Mum when she says “Frankie… what have you got in your mouth?”
We are VERY excited to be back at school and to see all our human friends again. We missed the pats and treats, the smiles, and especially the sandwich scraps (please keep dropping them). We missed visiting Canteen and getting Hash Brown for breakfast.
We are also Very Excited because there is a new Labrador puppy at school called Uriel. Uriel is training to be a Seeing Eye Dog, which is Very Important and Very Impressive. We are helping by showing Uriel where the good pats are (and where the bins are, but only for educational purposes).
We cannot wait to see everyone at school again. Please remember we are always available for pats, cuddles, and emotional support — especially during maths.
That is all for now,
Frankie (and Ash, who says she helped write this but she is asleep)
