Aquatics Program Cancelled Following Walcha Pool Delay
We regret to inform our families that the 2025 Aquatics Program has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances regarding local pool access.
Walcha Council recently announced that the opening of the Walcha Swimming Pool has been delayed until the end of January. Unfortunately, this late opening date falls outside our scheduled window for the program.
While we attempted to secure an alternative venue, we have confirmed that the Uralla Swimming Pool is fully booked on the dates we had hoped to conduct our program. We had made a contingency booking at the Uralla Pool for Friday, February 11th, 2026, just in case the Walcha Pool was still closed; however, since our main program dates are unavailable, we cannot proceed with the full program. We remain hopeful that the Walcha Pool will open on time for public use.
We have successfully redirected our Sporting Schools grant funds to organize an exciting Tennis Program for all students!

ACS Basketball and Tennis Trials
Interested students families have been notified about the upcoming Armidale Catholic Schools Basketball and Tennis Trials. The trials are scheduled to be held in Tamworth on Friday, December 5th, offering students the opportunity to be considered for diocesan representative teams in both basketball and tennis. Please be aware that to secure your child's spot, all nominations and accompanying payment must be submitted no later than Friday, November 21st.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook
St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
