2026 Student of the Week

RYDA Road Safety

Year 11 students attended a Road Safety work shop coordinated by RYDA at Deakin University on Monday 7th September.  Students participated in a range of activities which got them thinking about the choices they will make when driving. We had guest speakers from the Victorian Police,  a local motorbike crash survivor, CFA, advance driving instructors. This was a fantastic opportunity to build increased knowledge and awareness of how to be safe on out roads.

Year 7–10 Cricket Match Report

On Wednesday 16 September, Mortlake College played a Year 7–10 cricket match against Hawkesdale College.

It was a great game, with both teams competing in a positive and respectful manner. The students from both schools showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the match, supporting their teammates and showing respect towards their opponents.

It was pleasing to see the game played in such a positive spirit, with both teams enjoying the opportunity to represent their schools and compete against each other.

We thank Hawkesdale College for a great day of cricket and look forward to continuing our sporting relationship
