We had the best time during NCS Vacation Care!

We spent our school holidays doing crafts, playing sports and making so many amazing memories!! Some standout experiences were our excursion to Play-O-Rama, Champions at Heart and Drumming!!

Play-O-Rama saw the children catching a bus with the educators to jump, climb and swing. The children had an absolute blast!! One child said “I loved playing with my friends and the educators”. It was so great to go beyond our usual program and have the most fun ever!  Our Peak NCS children were so kind and considerate of each other and the other children attending, we were so proud!!

Champions at Heart was all about Growth Mindset and the importance of a positive mindset. The children completed all different types of activities during this incursion, including ‘heads, toes, knees and shoulders’, positive affirmation bean bag balancing, and mindset relays! The children absolutely loved this day, it was a great way to mix fun with a learning experience!! We also had Rhythm fit, a drumming incursion visit. The children each had their own set of drums (or buckets) and drumsticks. We learned all types of rhythms and beats, following the instructor. The children drummed in pairs and of course, our educators had to join in!!

We miss it all already! The children did so many more activities, games and sports but these were definitely our highlights. It was such a great 2 weeks filled with the best experiences and fun memories.

We can’t wait for the next Vacation care!! :D
