WHAT’S ON? 

Get ready for an action-packed day! 

• Downball Tournament: Hosted by Handball Australia, with awesome prizes up for grabs! 
• Silent Disco: Grab some headphones and dance the fete away! 

• Photobooth: Strike a pose with a baguette and a beret (thanks to the French Bilingual Association)
• Ultimate Box Maze: Crawl and explore our legendary cardboard labyrinth
• Crazy Hair & Nail Salon: Go wild with wacky colours, stripes or spikes!   
• Soccer Shoot Out: Lace up your boots and show off your striking skills!

• Facepainting: Transform into a superhero, wild animal or butterfly
• Henna: Get a beautiful, custom design
• Creative Craft Station: Unleash your inner artist and make a masterpiece! 
• Chill out kid zone: This year, we’ll have a dedicated chill out zone for the kids to get away from the crowds and play some quiet games.
• Carnival Games Station: Step up and try your luck at the good ol’ Toilet Paper Toss, Water Blaster Target and Chocolate Toss!

ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are thrilled to announce that Luigi Zucchini - an international man of magic and comedy – will be taking the stage! Get read for his goofy antics, live animal friends and a never ending bag of tricks. 

Think you’re just as funny? Kids will be able to step up to the mic and bring the house down in our Kids’ Joke Competition! 

And of course, the festival vibes will be going strong all day with live performances from our incredible FPS students, the legendary parent band and a DJ! 

STALL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Our food line up is guaranteed to make your mouth water! 

• The African Feast: Our legendary feast is back and bigger than ever! This year, we’ll also have an African Tea & Coffee station! 

• French Delicacies: Say oui to continental treats, including our freshly made crepes and our boulangerie! 
• Hey, got any grapes? No, we just sell lemonade, but it’s cold and it’s fresh, and it’s all home made! 
• Get your whirl of barbe à papa (fairy floss)! 

• Fete Favourites: Of course grab a snag at the BBQ sausage sizzle, stock up at the bake sale, treat the kids to popcorn and delicious fresh ice-cream!  

STALL ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Get ready to shop 'til you drop at our amazing market stalls! 

• The beloved second-hand book sale is making a grand return 
• We’ll also have our beautiful craft and jewellery stall.

• We’re also excited to present our 
• Alumni stall Meet Chris Bennett, former FPS student in the 50s, author of Roy Boy and learn a bit of Fitzroy history! 
• Merchandise designed and made by the one and only Kristy (Ziggy’s mum) from Haus of Dizzy!   

CALL OUTS! 

We’ll be officially calling for donations after the school holidays for our beloved bake stall, second-hand book stall and our Craft and Jewellery store, so here is your head start to start prepping during the school holidays:

The Bake Sale: Dust off your aprons and start planning your signature sweet treats.

Second-Hand Books: Clear out those bookshelves and gather your pre-loved reads!

Crafts & Jewellery: We'd love to stock the stalls with your beautiful handmade items. And to all FPS Kids: We absolutely love featuring creations made by our students, so grab your art supplies and get crafting!

Volunteers: We will need lots of volunteers for the day, so if you can ask your former students, family, your neighbours, your nearest and dearest to spare an hour or two, we would love that! The volunteer sign up sheet will be circulated in early Term 4! 

GOT ANY OTHER IDEAS? 

If you have any last minute ideas, please do let us know and we’ll see if we can make it happen! 

SILENT AUCTION 

We will be launching the Silent Auction after school holidays and have already obtained lots of fab items! 

If you have any contacts with businesses or organisations who could support the fete financially, or make a donation of services or goods, we would love it if you could provide them with a letter and a donations flyer. 

Some great silent auction items could also be: 

• Any unwanted gifts or vouchers that could be regifted
• Artworks
• Jewellery
• Travel vouchers
• Hotel/holiday accommodation
• Goods/or services
• Restaurant vouchers or chef/catering services (for private dinners or cooking lessons)
