Latest update

Last updated: Tuesday 8 September 2026

Dear Families,

We have created this site to give families one clear and reliable source of information about the College’s Enterprise Agreement negotiations and any protected industrial action that may affect students or College operations.

We understand that changes to usual College arrangements can create uncertainty, particularly when they affect the school day, student supervision or scheduled activities.

As the situation develops, this site will be updated with:

  • confirmed industrial action, including relevant dates and times
  • changes to classes, events or other College activities
  • arrangements for student supervision, dismissal and buses
  • any actions families need to take
  • answers to frequently asked questions.

Each update will be dated and clearly identified as either confirmed or unconfirmed, so families can easily distinguish between formal notices and possible future action.

Where a change requires immediate attention or action, the College will continue to contact families directly through Compass. This site will provide a central location where all current information can also be found. Families may wish to bookmark it and check it ahead of any notified action.

We are committed to communicating as early and clearly as possible. At times, we may become aware of possible action before receiving formal notice. Where this occurs, we will share what we can to help families plan, while making it clear that arrangements remain unconfirmed.

The College remains engaged in bargaining and committed to reaching an agreement with staff. Throughout this period, our focus remains on the wellbeing, learning and care of our students, supporting our staff and recognising the important contribution they make to the College.

We ask all members of our community to continue to engage with one another respectfully throughout this process.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
