GREAT BOOK SWAP SUCCESS

A huge thank you to everyone who donated their pre-loved books to this year's Great Book Swap. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $200, which will help support remote Indigenous communities and provide more children with the joy of reading.

The event saw plenty of students and staff stopping by to browse the fantastic selection of books on offer. A special thank you goes to our Library Captains for their hard work and enthusiasm and to Archie, who also volunteered his time to help make the event run smoothly.

Together, we have made a positive difference while celebrating our shared love of books and reading.

PREMIERS’ READING CHALLENGE

HOW MANY CAN YOU ADD OVER THE HOLIDAYS?

Read Over the Holidays and Climb the Leaderboard!

The holidays are the perfect time to grab a great book and keep those reading logs growing.

I challenge everyone to log, log, log their reading over the break and see how high you and your class can climb on the leaderboard.

This year, we'll have an overall champion, but there will also be prizes and recognition for students in every year level. That means everyone has a chance to be a winner!

Who will be sitting at the top of the leaderboard when school returns? Keep reading, keep logging, and let's find out.

Happy reading and good luck.

BOOK WEEK IS COMING

Book Week will be here before you know it, so it's time to start thinking about your costume!

Who is your favourite book character? Will you be a brave adventurer, a magical wizard, a mischievous animal, a superhero, a musical character or someone from one of this year's CBCA shortlisted books?

Now is the perfect time to start planning and getting creative. We can’t wait to see all the amazing costumes and celebrate our love of books and reading together.

Ms. Bookworm will be back in her brand-new "Symphony of Stories" outfit,  stay tuned to see what she will get up to. And wait until you see what the windows will bring, what could the teachers and staff get up to this time?!

Have a wonderful holiday break. Keep reading and keep imagining!
