Years 5 to 10 Prep and Grammar Big BBQ Excursion

On Tuesday 28 November 2023 from 10.30am until the end of the School day the boys from Years 5 to 10 will be participating in the inaugural Grammar Big BBQ. The event will be held at Dee Why Oval with both students and staff walking there after the recess break.

The aim of the event is for the Years 5 to 10 students to participate in a number of House based activities with students from across all the year groups. Our House Captains are currently in the process of planning the activities, hopefully ensuring they are as inclusive as possible.

As the name of the event suggests, both students and staff will be provided with a BBQ lunch which will include sausages, bread and vegetarian and gluten free options. Can you please ensure you have updated the medical details for your child including all allergies in the Parent Lounge when accepting permission to attend.

Students will be required to:

• Wear their PE uniform all day
• Bring a hat
• Bring water and food
• Bring sunscreen

Please accept permission for your child to attend prior to Friday 24 November (Week 6) via the Parent Lounge:

1. Select 'Parent Lounge' in App
2. Select 'Events' and the student attending
3. Follow the 'Years 5 to 10 Prep & Grammar Big BBQ' link
4. Accept the Terms and Conditions.
5. Verify all medical details for your child (including allergy information)
6. Accept the invitation.
