From the Principal's desk

I had the great pleasure of attending 5/6 Camp to Phillip Island, last week. The students represented the school brilliantly, with our bus driver, Roger, commenting that it was one of the best groups he has taken. I know the students and the staff had favourite places, mine was the penguins.

2026 Prep Enrolments

Current families with a child at Numurkah PS who will commence Prep in 2026 are encouraged to pick up an enrolment pack from the office. 

If you know of anyone looking to enrol at Numurkah PS for 2026 or still undecided, please encourage them to give the office a call or come in for a chat and a tour of the school.

The first 2 transition sessions have been very successful. Thank you to Ms McDonald and Ms Gray.

SunSmart

In-line with our SunSmart policy, all students must wear a bottle green broadbrim or bucket hat when outside during Terms 1 and 4. There are still a number of students who are not wearing hats. If your child cannot find their school hat, these are available from SPORTF1RST to purchase. Students who do not have a hat will need to stay under the shade at recess and lunch times. I would like to ask all families to please ensure sunscreen is applied before coming to school.

Year 3/4 Camp - Murray Life Adventures

Thank you to all Year 3 and 4 Families who have submitted payment for the camp. Please ensure payment is received by Monday 27th October. The students are very excited to be heading off on Wednesday, November the 5th.
