It has been another exciting and rewarding term in VCE Vocational Major, with both year levels actively engaging in a wide range of hands-on and meaningful activities.
Our Year 11 students have successfully completed Unit 1, while our Year 12 students have wrapped up Unit 3 and are now diving into Unit 4 with great momentum.
Some of the term’s highlights (see photos below!) include students in Year 11 Numeracy designing and building model Formula 1 cars, an engaging project that required precision measurement and close attention to design specifications. Both year levels also took part in separate cooking classes, with the Year 11s preparing cupcakes for a social cause, showcasing teamwork and compassion in action.
Our Year 12s have enjoyed several exciting industry excursions, including a visit to the luxurious W Hotel in the city. We began the day touring The Hotel School to learn more about the dynamic hospitality industry, followed by a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how a five-star hotel operates. (More pictures below!)
Finally, a big thank you to all the parents who were able to meet with the Year 12 team in person to discuss their child’s progress. It was a busy day, but an incredibly positive and productive one for all involved.
