Concert countdown.....

It has been a busy week as classes put the final touches on their concert performances. Students will attend a whole-school practice at the Frankston Cultural Centre on Thursday for a final run-through with their peers. We look forward to seeing family and friends come together to celebrate on Thursday evening. Don’t forget to purchase your tickets!

On Tuesday evening, we celebrated the achievements of three of our Pathways students who were nominated for the Peninsula Applied Learning Awards. These awards highlight the outstanding accomplishments of young individuals in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula region. This year, Storm R and Holly D received awards for their commitment to their VPC studies, extracurricular activities, School-Based Apprenticeships, and work experience programs.

Teagan M received the industry award for her dedication to her School-Based Apprenticeship, pursuing a Certificate in Cookery while gaining valuable insight and experience in the hospitality industry.

Congratulations to all the nominated students and to the award recipients!

Thank you to the families who attended the Pathways information evening this week. Teachers had the opportunity to outline the Pathways program and discuss program choices with students and their families. We are very excited to announce that in 2025, we will be offering VDSS (Vocational Education and Training Delivered to Secondary Students) onsite at Naranga.

The revised ‘No Hat, No Play’ campaign launched this week, supported by our upper Junior students and teachers. This student-driven project rewards students for wearing hats during outdoor activities. Students reinforce the expectation of wearing a hat and listen to the advice of their peers.

Today, we celebrate World Teachers' Day. It is an opportunity to express our gratitude to the teachers who continue to make a difference in the lives of children and young people, every day. On behalf of the Naranga community, we thank you for your commitment to the students at Naranga.

Have a happy weekend.
