Girls in Aviation Day is an opportunity for high school students to explore the exciting careers available in the aviation/aerospace industry such as engineers, aircraft maintenance technicians, pilots, operational staff, air traffic controllers, just to name a few. This free event will be held at Essendon Fields, right in the heart of some of Melbourne's biggest aviation organisations! This event is for students who identify as girls or non-binary, between the ages of 12 to 17 years of age. All students must have a guardian or adult supervisor attend with them. What’s included:- Lunch- A GIAD kit filled with resources and activities- Up close access to aircraft and aviation equipment- Conversations with a variety of people from the aviation industry

Melbourne Zoo: Voice for Wildlife Program

Over four action-packed days this program will explore animal welfare, community campaigns, and behaviour change—all through the lens of Zoos Victoria’s Safe Cat, Safe Wildlife campaign.

Open to students in 14-18 years old, and limited to thirty participants, so students should act quickly!
