A Message from Keir and Emma

Whole School Sports Day
Last Wednesday we had our annual whole school sports day. Students from Foundation through to Grade 6 spent the day competing in various different track and field events. The aim of the day was for everyone to have fun, participate, and have a go, and it was wonderful to see that every child participated in the sports to the best of their ability. We would like to acknowledge Martin for his exceptional organisation and running of the event. We would also like to extend a big thank you to the many parent volunteers who helped on the day.
Three-Way Conferences
Our Semester 2 Three-Way Conferences are scheduled for Thursday 6th August. These conferences will take place on-site. Students are required to attend and will participate in a section of the conference. After that, parents and teachers will have the opportunity to chat.
Each conference runs for 10 minutes and can be booked between 10am and 6pm through the Sentral platform. We are unable to schedule appointments outside of this window. If you require support to access the Sentral booking platform, or to make bookings online, please pop in and see someone in the front office. Bookings close at lunchtime on Wednesday 5th August.
Our Specialist teachers will also be available for Three-Way Conferences however please note that their appointment times are limited and may fill quickly.
Dental Van Visit
We are very lucky to have the team from Smile Squad providing on-site dental consultations to interested families this week. If you would like your child to take part in a consultation, please use the QR code featured later in this newsletter, or pick up a paper form from the front office. Next week is Dental health week in Australia. Dental Health week outlines four essential dental health habits ;
- Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste
- Clean between teeth daily
- Eat a nutritious, low‑sugar diet
- Visit the dentist regularly for preventive care
The 2026 Dental Health week theme is ‘My Smile’ which centres on helping young adults maintain healthy routines and avoid delaying dental care. More information and resources can be found here.
Enrolments For Foundation 2027
We are now accepting enrolments for Foundation 2027. If you are intending to enroll your child in our school next year, please make sure you have submitted your form to the office. It may seem early in the year, but this timeline is required to help us with workforce planning. Please speak to a member of Leadership or the front Office if you would like an enrolment form.
